I’m a hot sleeper and recently converted to percale sheets from Hale and they are life changing. I sleep infinitely better, i am rarely too warm, I guess I kept waking up because I was too hot before despite using a 4 tog duvet in a house with the heating turned off at night in 0 degrees celsius weather.

I’ve become a very hot sleeper over the years. Was skeptical this or that type of sheets would make a difference. Couldn’t stomach the cost of “specialty” sheets. I am now a believer. Just wanted to recommend these sheets for fellow hot sleepers. I’ve tried linen, too (Parachute) but the percale are in first place so far.

Note of caution though, I assumed long thread and high thread count would be the same markers of quality in percale as sateen, it's not, you still want long thread cotton but anything above 400 tc for percale is using shorter threads and is marketing bs because its impossible to have such high thread counts = high quality in percale due to the tight weave.

They’re crisp yet soft, and kind of float over my body. Now that it’s getting colder here in the PNW, I feel like I need a bit more coziness and pulled a lightweight blanket from my linen closet. Alas, it was a bit too warm. So I got the idea to add a linen sheet atop the percale sheet and damn, it’s perfect. I love the percale next to my skin, but adding a linen top sheet to function as a “lightweight blanket” has provided the coziness I was craving without being unbearably hot.

the best sheet you can buy are these simply because it’s the best quality cotton and they’re underpriced. they’re made out of Giza 86 and they’re single ply so they’re very thin to help with breathability, which is typically the reason shy people pick percale, but very strong due to the fiber used.
